Google Confirms it can Ban All Sites on a Hosted Server

By Liam Eagle

An interesting blog post on Search Engine Roundtable this week, saying that Google had offered some unusual confirmation, via Twitter, of the company's policies - Google says it can and will take action on all the sites hosted on a given server, if the company believes the host to be overly populated with spam-related content.

Confirming a policy that has been suspected, and discussed, but not officially confirmed, said SERoundtable, Google search quality strategist Kaspar Szymanski tweeted in response to a post in the Polish Google Webmaster Help thread, in which the poster asked why his site was not ranking.
