Texting is Preferred

If you own a cellphone ? 83% of American adults do ? chances are that you send and receive text messages. And if you are a teenager, you may prefer texting to talking.

That is according to a recent study by the Pew Research Center.

Among cellphone owners, 73% of them text. And the younger the user, the more they text, the study found.
