Army Uses Wireless Network

If you have a smartphone, chances are you know how to send a text message, read an email or go online. And now the Army is testing a new way to wirelessly give and receive orders through a network thats being evaluated at the White Sands Army Missile Range. This system will allow Army commanders can set up a battle plan and simply e-mail or text orders to units in the field right on to their smartphones. Army officials tell KFOX 14 that this system has been in the works for the last year.
