Class Action Suit Seeks 1B in Damages for Sony PlayStation Breach

May 4, 2011 -- A proposed class action lawsuit against technology giant Sony could cost the company up to $1 billion, according to a report by the Canadian Press on Tuesday. The lawsuit has been filed in Toronto on behalf of about one million Canadian PlayStation and Qriocity users for breach of privacy and negligence.
